TUCSON, AZ – At least one person was seriously injured during a motorcycle accident in eastern Tucson on Thursday night, according to Ofc. Roman Acosta with the Tucson Police Department.

The crash occurred near the intersection of E Lakeside Drive and S Kolb Road at about 7 p.m. and involved a motorcyclist.
At least one person, who was not immediately identified, was reported as seriously hurt.
Authorities closed the northbound lanes of traffic for a few hours as they investigated the crash. By 10:04 p.m., the roadway had been reopened.
